“Tijd voor updates van de chalets”
The surroundings were beautiful and quiet, with lovely country roads, forested areas, beaches, the North Sea, and little traffic thanks to the dead‑end road. The price of €1440 for a moderately equipped wooden cabin was high, the dishes were dirty with food residue, the coffee machine was incomplete, the electrical wiring was partly primitive, a 220‑volt outlet in the shower area was unusable, the upper floor was only reachable by very slim, agile people, the lounge chair was completely broken, the living room floor was damaged or worn, not all lights worked, and ventilation was mediocre in the hot weather. On the veranda there was a loose cap of a septic tank or something similar on poorly finished asphalt where you stumble in the dark. Because of the fading, the beach was no longer at the campsite but 20 minutes away. Clearly a cash cow. Fortunately I got a big discount through Genius, and with a bit more maintenance and management it could be much better. Still an 8 because with some adjustments we enjoyed the whole experience.

The cottage turned out nothing like the listing – I booked a different unit with a private bathroom, but got a damp, unwelcoming wooden shack with no bathroom, which was a huge let‑down, and to make matters worse insects invaded the bed – I found six silverfish under the pillows and duvet, plus another black bug and a tiny one, so I left immediately, leaving my new mattress cover behind because I didn’t dare take it; we lost that money and felt the price was absurd, booked another hotel and never slept in that bug‑infested place, and I’ll be sending a complaint to the park hoping for a refund, after which I’ll delete this review. Please keep the cottages cleaner and be honest about not offering a private bathroom, so future guests don’t suffer the same disappointment.

The cabin offered a lovely view, stunning nature and the surroundings in Trelde Næs, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming; unfortunately we had to go without an oven and a dishwasher for two days because a fuse blew, though the team did everything they could to sort it out.
The location, the silence and calm of the environment, and the quantity of services. A small network of holes, and for two adults I felt it was cramped.
