“Great hotel just needs a few things looking at to improve”

The location, breakfast and service were good. The bathroom shower was faulty and spluttering everywhere – a new shower head would fix it. At €100 a night for a single room, the hotel should afford that. The inside lock on the door didn’t work, leaving me feeling insecure.

The hotel’s location made shopping and tours easy. We were very happy with everything. The room was very clean and the bedding very comfortable.

The staff were friendly, the room was a good size, breakfast was decent, and the cleaning was quite good. The location is in the centre, everything is close and convenient, but the bar by the window made noise until 1 am, and many restaurants nearby are also noisy. Even with the window closed, the noise persisted. Paying a cheap price means paying twice. We paid for the price and got insomnia.

The hotel sits right in the center, and at the reception you can even speak French, which I appreciated. On the downside, everything else was just fine.
