Communication was great beforehand. Parking is easy. One room is much larger than the other, but both are spotless with decent ensuite bathrooms.

Manesty House, a recently renovated 4‑star guest house in Keswick, offers rooms with free WiFi, express check‑in/out, and a private entrance. Each room features mountain views, a work desk, free toiletries, a shower, carpeted floors, a TV, and interconnected rooms. Located 13 minutes from Theatre by the Lake, 1.2 km from National Trust, and 3.6 km from Derwentwater Lake.

I spent a brief weekend with my six‑year‑old son to see Keswick and the surrounding area, and the hosts were warm and helpful yet let us have our own space. They gave solid suggestions for day trips, the rooms and bathrooms were spotless and well put together, and the beds were very cozy. The spot is superb, just under ten minutes’ walk down the hill to Keswick’s centre. Nothing negative to mention.

The place was clean, tidy, and gave us easy access to the town centre; it was spacious enough for the three of us, and the taxi back cost only £5. Everything was great.
