“Lovely weekend stay”
The area was perfect for our event and the property had everything we required. Nothing else to add.
The host let us check in early to prepare for a local wedding, which was very helpful and understanding—thanks a lot. We had a comfortable stay and the garden was beautiful. Nothing else to note.
“Refreshing”
Very clean, very friendly very quiet, relaxing stuff so helpful
“Slept well. Clean. Instructions are clear. Easy on the pocket.”
The price matched the value. The staff were friendly. The shared facilities were a drawback.
“TOP CLASS B&B around Farnborough no ANKLE BITERS (kids)!”
The hotel offered peace and quiet, far from the main roads and half a mile into a country lane. It was spotless and the bed was worth the extra cost. All the basics were in the room: fan, bedside lights, kettle, large TV, fridge, table, two Windsor-backed chairs, bathrobes, and postcards. Breakfast included four cereal varieties, oats with syrup, several teas and coffees, hot chocolate, fruit juice, milk, water, biscuits, and a few sealed snacks. A full kitchen was available if you brought your own ingredients, but the kippers and curry were left at home. The view from my bedroom window was spectacular—wildlife, a roe deer in the garden eating windfall apples at dawn. Thanks for a great stay; you outshine local 3‑star hotels! You’d easily win over the 4‑room B&Bs on Channel 4—thanks, Jane. P.S. If you can’t handle peace and quiet in the sticks, go to Magaluf instead. The only downside was that it’s not wheelchair friendly. As someone with knee issues, I struggled with the stairs and bathrooms. A wheelchair can’t fit in the bathroom, and even without one, the space was tight for my 170 kg frame, though the shower was fine. Leaving was also a challenge—after the tranquility, the suburbs were noisy.
