“Gorgeous place to stay”
The hotel is lovely, with a beautiful room and an amazing-looking bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very kind. I definitely plan to return.

The location is close to amenities, but parking is a drawback.

We received a very warm welcome and were given recommendations for places to eat and visit. The room was well equipped and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was excellent, as were the evening meals at the restaurant. Nothing negative to mention.

The room was lovely; after a long journey and some work to finish, I felt very comfortable. I usually don’t recommend hotels, but this one has earned my recommendation, and I’ve suggested it to friends seeking a romantic getaway. Whitehaven is lovely, the hotel is perfect, and it offers great value for its level of luxury. I can’t think of anything that could have been better!

A quiet hotel tucked into a back street just off town centre. The location is very quiet, so I slept well each night. The only downside was that breakfast didn’t start until 8 am, which meant I was already out on both days; that was more of a personal issue.
