The Japanese‑style tatami rooms were cozy and comfortable, but it would have been nicer if the check‑in time were extended.

The public bath, private bathhouse, and in‑room bath were all excellent, and the breakfast and dinner were plentiful and tasty 😋😋; the summer lantern festival added to the experience. Staying on 9/29 meant no maple leaves, but the off‑season calm, moderate temperatures, and scenic views were very relaxing. The only drawback was that some restaurant staff didn’t consider guests under other staff’s care when attending to their own guests.
