Fritsch am Berg, an adults-only hotel in Lochau, offers panoramic views of Lake Constance from its hillside location. The hotel features a 700 m2 spa area with indoor pool, steam bath, sauna, gym, and massage rooms. The staff were friendly, the food superb, the location quiet, and the wellness area well maintained; the rooms were nice with good beds and pillows, creating a calm, pleasant atmosphere. However, the breakfast and dinner staff were a bit thin (though still friendly), the suite had a slightly sour smell upon entry that we reported at reception, the sea view was partial—higher rooms would have a better outlook—and there was no cold pool in the sauna area.

The staff were pleasant, the location great, and the view impressive, but carnival music played constantly, the scent could be improved, the entrance had a hospital‑like smell, and the wellness area’s opening hours were too short.

The location was fantastic, and the view alone was phenomenal! The spa area was truly nice, with plenty of quiet zones and spots to retreat to. The food was very fine and the atmosphere very relaxed.
