The host was very welcoming, the hotel was clean, and although the furnishings were slightly dated, it had plenty of charm. We enjoyed a comfortable night and a fantastic breakfast with good coffee, fresh baguette, homemade preserves, and many other tasty items. Overall, it felt like the kind of charming, budget‑friendly French hospitality we haven’t seen in years. The owner also runs a local restaurant offering interesting North African, Syrian, Thai‑inspired dishes, and the reviews are fantastic, though we didn’t try it because we already had dinner plans. The village itself was a bit quiet or deserted on an early September evening, but after a long day on the road we didn’t mind at all.

The welcome was excellent, the bedding was very good, everything was great, and I definitely recommend booking the restaurant "les Chimères" – great job.
