For the price, the room was spacious and the bathroom was great, quite clean, and free soft drinks were available at reception. However, it wasn’t a “love hotel”—no physical check‑in, a Nepali maid tried to help but was limited, and the location was far from Shizuoka; the taxi driver was unsure it was there. I realized the true vibe when I saw an ashtray, a music console, and dim lights. All the signs were on the wall, but hindsight is 20/20.
