We really enjoyed staying in the lovely Tack room hosted by David and his wife, so much so that we booked an extra day; we were pleased they had availability. It was spotless, well maintained, a cosy room with a private kitchen in a quiet area near the famous Barter bookstore. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts were lovely. We’ll book again next time we’re in the area. Everything was absolutely perfect.

The location and owner were fantastic, they made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and it felt like home. Absolutely nothing was wrong, everything was perfect.

A lovely property. Clean and very comfortable. There is secure parking and you can easily walk into Alnwick to visit the castle, gardens and restaurants. Amazing breakfasts. There was nothing to dislike

“Relaxing,just what we needed.”

Great breakfast – my husband couldn’t eat it all! The room was lovely, clean, comfortable, with a sofa. The owners David and Beverly were excellent and attentive. Nothing was too much; all I can say is “we’ll be back!” We could easily become friends with these lovely people. Keep up the good work. Nothing – all great, thank you.

We spent 3 nights in the Grooms Loft at The Coach House and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The room was lovely, comfortable, and spotless, and David and Beverly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This was the perfect base to explore Alnwick and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
