The hotel’s location is great, right next to the old town and a nearby shopping complex. The shower is above the bath and it’s not easy to climb in and out, which differs from the photos that showed standard showers.

The spot was spot‑on—central, with attractions, eateries and shops just a stroll away, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good range of choices. The room was on the smaller side and plain, but still comfy enough for us. I spotted an opened bottle of water in the minibar; since I couldn’t prove I hadn’t opened it, I paid for it and used it to brew coffee. A kettle would have made tea making far more convenient.

The proximity to all historic sites and points of interest was a real highlight.

The central location, balcony, and tidy rooms were positives, but the breakfast was bland and the dining area felt dull. We were also surprised to see the hotel charge for storing our luggage a few hours before departure, which is usually included in the service.

The location and convenience were great; nothing else to note.
