La Saint Martinoise

The place was clean, quiet, and very well arranged. The guesthouse with Delphine felt like a cozy cocoon on the ground floor of the family house. The room was spacious and the small kitchen allowed me to warm a dish or make tea/coffee, which I appreciated. The garden was accessible on nice days. Parking on the street was easy. Delphine is a lovely person who enjoys showing the local cheese specialties. Breakfast was amazing, and the sponge towels were fluffy! The only thing to note is that the accommodation is on the heights of Boulogne, so a vehicle is needed to move around the city quickly and easily. Château Comtal is nearby.

“Goed verblijf voor een korte periode!”

The host Delphine was very friendly. The room had everything we needed, more than enough space for three people. Breakfast was basic but tasty, with a different loaf of bread and different pastries each day. For us, the spread was simply chocolate, jam and cheese, but we were asked in advance if we wanted anything else. Every morning fresh coffee was brewed, and for the kids we were asked what they wanted to drink. When we saw the trampoline in the garden, the man immediately hung a safety net so the children could use it. It’s a short 10‑minute walk to the old centre of Boulogne‑sur‑Mer. We did everything on foot and that was fine. Very satisfied!
