La tranquilidad del lugar fue excelente, pero la piscina no se había avisado que había que reservarla antes; después de un viaje, uno quiere un baño y no lo sabíamos.

“Etat technique des sanitaires”

Le personnel accueillait chaleureusement et le repas du soir était bon, mais l’aménagement de la chambre n’était pas terminé : la porte de la salle de bains était un rideau de douche, les robinets étaient provisoires et la chasse d’eau ne fonctionnait pas sans notre aide ! De plus, il n’y avait plus d’eau chaude à 20h30. Le patron nous a expliqué qu’il avait oublié d’allumer le deuxième chauffe‑eau après l’arrivée d’un groupe. Bref, je suis très déçu !

The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and eager to help, and the property boasts a charming little garden with its own pair of peacocks plus other animals, as well as a pool; they even set up a special table in the garden for our breakfast, which created a wonderful atmosphere, and in the evenings guests and locals gathered in the lobby to play games or make music, making it feel very inclusive. However, the hotel sits right on the national road, and our room faced the street, so the noise seriously disrupted our sleep; the room was also directly beside the dining hall, its walls essentially made of two tightly nailed Euro‑pallets, offering virtually no sound or smell isolation, so food odors and noises from the hall and adjacent room were unmistakable, as if the diners were in our space. Our vegetarian vegetable soup tasted of pureed chicken, leaving us unsure if it was truly vegetarian. Cleanliness was lacking: we had to pull foreign hair and dark debris from the shower, found dried boogers on a bedsheet, and the duvet covers were missing, so we couldn’t tell whether they were laundered after each guest.

“Une très belle étape”

My stay at this hotel was truly delightful, thanks to the warm welcome from the staff and the high-quality amenities. The comfortable beds, lush garden with its charming animals, and convenient parking made for a perfect stay. The breakfast was also incredibly delicious. However, I was a bit concerned about the proximity to the main road, which could be a disturbance if your room faces that direction.

I was initially impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the convenience of parking my motorcycle inside. The food was also top-notch, with both dinner and breakfast being exceptional. However, I was disappointed by the hotel's proximity to the main road, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, the owner took a photo with my motorcycle without my permission and sat on it without asking.
