“Horrifying. Don't book this unless you really have to.”
I only enjoyed having the TV. It was the ONLY good thing about this place. 1. Communication. I booked this last minute as I suddenly needed a place to stay that night and chose this. So I called the number to get the room information, only to find out there's no main lock on the front door and we can just 'walk in'? Additionally, I asked for room information (WiFi, etc.) to be sent by text during that call and received no follow-up, especially on the WiFi information. I asked multiple times during my stay and did not receive a response or a call back. 2. Cleanliness Firstly, it looks nothing like the photos. I wish I had taken photos, but I was in genuine shock when I entered. It was incredibly dusty and full of cobwebs EVERYWHERE. Every surface had some sort of dust, and we had to thoroughly clean the place before sleeping. You could smell the mould in the air too. The bathroom was also significantly worse than in pictures; toiletries were all over the place, one over the door?? It was a piece of work. Protect your health and just book a hotel in town. 3. Safety When we first entered, the door to our room was open, with the key in the lock. The security of the room and the main door was concerning. The doorknob on the connecting door to the kitchen had come off when I was trying to close it. We were two women travellers, so we did not enjoy the lack of security during this stay. I had heightened anxiety sleeping here. To the owner; please fix these issues before opening the space to more travellers! The location was decent and the vibe seemed to be much better a long time ago
