The stay was pleasant, but the special manager at reception, Verma Ji, was a bit off.

“Molto insoddisfatto.”

Nothing. The hot water was only available in the morning, Wi‑Fi didn’t reach the room, the hotel sits just a few meters from a run‑down building and all windows face that building, so there’s no view and it’s hidden by a curtain. The bathrooms need a full renovation, the in‑room TV only goes up to 27 inches with an external decoder, there’s no lobby to sit on a sofa and chat or read peacefully, the whole building smells bad, there’s no elevator for the four floors, and when we checked in they demanded cash payment and forced us to withdraw money—none of that was mentioned anywhere, plus the prices are high.

“Great location”

The location is amazing, the staff were helpful, and the room and facilities were well maintained. The corner room near the kitchen was noisy on the first day, but we later got a higher‑floor upgrade that was awesome.
