“Hidden gem”

The rawness was striking, but the view was the best we’ve seen since Bali; it was quiet, relaxing, and perfect for a honeymoon, though bars and restaurants were a 15‑minute taxi ride away. The best basi gorang came from there.

“Geruch im ersten Zimmer”

The first room had a moldy smell and the furnishings felt a bit dated; after we swapped rooms without any trouble, the second room left us very satisfied. The first room was the only issue.

“Stunning, off the beaten track getaway.”

The villas sat on a cliff with ocean views, an amazing infinity pool, and stunning décor, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was very remote, so having your own transport is advisable; they offer scooter hire. Dinner is available but basic, yet a lovely restaurant up the road offers equally breathtaking views.

“Last minute booking - best decision ever”

We booked The Palms at the last minute and it turned out to be the best accommodation we’ve had in Bali. The location is peaceful, authentic, and far from mass tourism, so quiet that it felt like the whole place was ours at times. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Warung Chik was within walking distance—a real bonus. Renting a scooter there made it a perfect base for exploring local villages and countryside instead of tourist crowds. If you want something authentic, peaceful, and a little off the beaten track, don’t hesitate; we absolutely loved it. 10/10 — we’d come back without hesitation, though we wish we could have stayed longer.
