The breakfast was plentiful and the service friendly, but the lobby was under renovation and the paint smell was a bit strong—probably from the AC, so the room had a similar odor. After staying one night, I spoke to the front desk and they swapped me into a different apartment.

Breakfast was really good and the staff were helpful, but I normally book Rembrandt in Bangkok and this was my third visit; I had booked a room based on the original Rembrandt location but was asked to stay at Residency instead. The allocated suite came with a kitchen that I didn't need, and the bathtub was too high, causing knee pain from the inconvenience.

I love the new renovations. Nothing I don’t like about the Rembrandt I stay there couple times a year
