“Cute location and nice folks!”

The room was set up really cute, and the breakfast was great!

I liked that the place felt quaint and homey, but the staff were distant and unprofessional; there was hard‑core rap playing in the lobby at 8 am, which I didn't want; the Wi‑Fi was glitchy and there were four stink bugs in my room; the towels were haphazardly folded with stringy loose ends, which was odd and disappointing.

The property is charming and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants.

The staff were fantastic, always welcoming and very personable, but the rooms could use some updating, including new furniture.

Located in a wonderful location for Gardens, Art Museums, nice nearby restaurants, Brandywine River Hotel was a great overnight stay. Large rooms, nice easy breakfast and helpful Staff. "Not Troy" was particularly helpful and amusing
