The location is great for public transport, but the breakfast from 8:30 to 10:00 was too late for our schedule. Luckily, Boulangerie Compondu (7/7) is very close, and the walk to the Blonay train station takes only a few minutes, so we didn’t have to leave late for the 08:12 train on day one or the 08:40 train on day two.

Very well located for public transport. The singing/squeaking parrot in the aviary is very pleasant; it seems to enjoy company and tries to imitate many different sounds. The breakfast from 8:30‑10:00 was too late for our schedule. Luckily the Boulangerie Compondu (7/7) is nearby and the suite to the Blonay train station is just a few minutes’ walk. No need to leave late (train at 08:12 the first day and 08:40 the second day).

The breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, and the reception was courteous and friendly.

The place is perfectly situated for anyone visiting the Blonay‑Chambery heritage railway, and it has the charm of a family‑run hotel.
