The spot was great, the continental breakfast was solid, and the room—though upgraded—was comfy and roomy with a bath. The hotel feels a bit old and worn, lacks foreign TV channels, and has no evening dining or bar. Finding it was tricky at first because the signs were poor.

The location was excellent, but the breakfast fell short for us vegetarians. The room was fine, and the bathroom was roomy. Small annoyances included a shortage of power outlets and limited space to hang clothes.

The location was fantastic, overlooking the square and right in the center. Rooms were cleaned and tidied daily, and the towels were changed. The breakfast could have been better. The elevator was old and slow. Carrying luggage up the half‑floor stairs was tough. Because the room faced the square, noise could spill into late hours.

Its location in the Rossio district was perfect. Room was huge. Building is old and has character. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room had a “safe”, but there was no lock on it

room was good, breakfast was ok, staff very helpful. access was stairs only and afterwards a elevator, shower head was broken, aircon did not work at all
