During a trip to Antalya, we stayed at several hotels in the old town, and Avelyn Hotel turned out to be the best. It didn’t offer anything extravagant, but the polite and hospitable staff, clean and spacious rooms, fresh linens, towels that smelled of fragrant fabric softener, a properly working air conditioner, and a stylish shower with ventilation were all hard to find elsewhere in Antalya. A staff member even spoke Russian with us, which was very pleasant. We had a small issue when moving from one room to another, but we received apologies and a good discount. Switching from a larger room to a smaller one was fine; all rooms are very comfortable, freshly renovated, and pleasant to spend time in. The hotel also has a cozy inner courtyard where you can escape the noisy tourist center. I hope that when we return, it will remain just as wonderful and will not only meet but exceed our expectations.
