Maru gave a wonderful welcome—she’s a kind person who always thinks of us and takes care of the little details. If you’re after quiet, nature, and sharing moments, pick this pension without hesitation! The restaurants are a 10‑minute walk away, and the beach is directly accessible. Just remember that on weekends everything closes on Sundays. You can rent bikes and explore the island, which is very accessible.
The accommodation matched the listing and had all the necessary gear. The window grills are handy for ventilation and keeping the windows open when we’re away. The fan is very useful on hot days. Water is supplied in a bottle. For a quick breakfast, there’s instant coffee and crackers. The animals are friendly and reassuring. We’re a 20‑minute walk from Tiputa Wharf and a 10‑minute walk from the viewpoint to see dolphins. Maru gave us a very warm welcome—thanks again for her kindness, generosity, and availability.
Front yard and back yard made it spacious. Washington machine was a big plus. The host was super nice and accommodating!

The staff were incredibly kind and super helpful! Maru was truly adorable and gave us all the information and assistance we needed, plus a lovely gift at departure. We booked two bungalows, both perfect for our needs—comfortable and spacious. The shared washing machine was a big plus. We could have rented bikes, but we didn’t because restaurants, shops, and the dolphin‑watching viewpoint are only a ten‑minute walk away. We’d love to return to Rangiroa and stay here again! A hair dryer and a few more laundry hooks would be nice, but overall our stay was fantastic.
