The spot is great, the morning market is right at the entrance, 20 m to the left is the foreigner street, 100 m to the right is the Mekong River. The AC whines so loud that I couldn’t sleep; I was planning to stay longer but changed hotels the next day.

The hotel sits in the centre and there’s nothing else. The bathroom was dirty, the shower head looked ancient, the curtains were filthy, the bath towels were dirty and stained, and the bulbs were burnt out. The outdoor kitchen where breakfast is served is in a pitiful state. At breakfast you only get one free option; the second is paid. The room safe is barely secured, which is unsettling. The manager told me at payment that my card wouldn’t work, I tried another card that also failed, so I paid in cash, which is exactly what he wanted. My banks confirmed my cards were active. We booked and paid for six nights but left after three nights for a better hotel where everything was perfect. The director refused to refund the three nights paid in advance, claiming everything was fine at his 4‑star hotel on Booking. This hotel doesn’t deserve a single star. And don’t trust the photos on Booking or elsewhere—you’ll be disappointed upon arrival. Overall a very bad experience; I recommend you stay away.

The older brother was very kind! The place is close to the morning market, the donation box, everything is convenient—highly recommended.
