Located in the seaside village, it's 20 minutes from Byron Bay and 30 minutes from Ballina Airport. Stylish, contemporary rooms are eco-conscious. The hotel is across from the Brunswick River and a short walk from the main street, with Gold Coast Airport 54 km away.

The hotel looked polished and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the light breakfast was nicely presented in a lovely setting, but the bathroom felt cramped and the door didn’t shut properly, so privacy was lacking.

The air conditioning and TV were both non‑functional, some rooms had a minibar while others didn’t for no clear reason, and we had to fetch our own towels because none were provided; the manager promised a follow‑up that never came.

Finding the place was a breeze thanks to its convenient location, but the staff mixed up our room assignment; at least they offered a larger room as a consolation.

Good location and great restaurants. Not 4 star like advertised more 3. Also said partial Ocean views definitely not. 3 flights of stairs to get to apartment wasn't clear on app
