The location was perfect for a quick stop on my way back to Reykjavik, and the staff were wonderful.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, and the view was stunning. The hotel itself is beautiful. However, there was no soundproofing; the people on the floor above kept walking and you could hear them from the entire upper level, even with earplugs. It’s noisy—this is common in Icelandic hotels, but here it was especially loud.
