I liked the location, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the owners. However, having to climb 20 steps with luggage was unpleasant, and the lack of breakfast made the stay less comfortable.

The property sits right across the street from the water, offering beautiful scenery, and it’s close to restaurants and the train station.

“If you’re looking for a clean small place to stay in that has a great location this is it for you!”

The location was fantastic—so close to the beach that we loved swimming there, and they provided beach towels on request. The beach itself is amazing, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby; we enjoyed exploring the old town at night. Monterosso is gorgeous, not overly touristy, and definitely the place to stay for exploring. The only downside is that the bedroom unit is small and could use more storage and hangers for bathing suits.
