The front desk was friendly, but the room was not very cozy—just look at the pictures—and it was very noisy, though maybe we were unlucky with the room.

The reception was very welcoming and the staff were extremely helpful; the hotel was very dog‑friendly even with two large dogs, and everyone felt very welcome, everything was spotless, and I’d gladly return. However, our room was a bit noisy; we could almost hear the neighbors, though that might not apply to every room.

The hotel is close to the exit onto the southern German highway and also near Nuremberg, which was decisive; free parking is under the hotel windows, right opposite Aldi. The room was poorly cleaned, with hair and trash from previous guests everywhere, the bathroom could use a hook for towels and clothes, the pillows were very uncomfortable and limp, and the room is very small, hard to move around even with two people.

“Geweldig, precies wat we hadden verwacht”

The owner was very nice, arranged a parking spot for our Mazda MX‑5, great, the shower was fine, breakfast was fine, they gave us a banana for the road and a thermos for hot water on the way to the vacation spot. Nothing else, just that Saturday is a quiet day for the nearby restaurants, we ended up walking toward the center, found a good pizzeria, an Aldi nearby, and a good ice‑cream shop.
