I stayed in a freshly renovated place that felt nice and had friendly fellow travelers; everything needed was there and the pool was clean. However, the ground‑floor apartment was brutally cold—15 °C upon arrival—and everything felt clammy because the heating didn't work. We tried to let in warm summer air during the day, but we only managed to reach 19 °C room temperature. The beds and the so‑called “historical” bedding in the bedroom smelled very musty.
“Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit viel Ruhe”
The flat was spacious, with up‑to‑date furnishings. It had a large bathroom that included a washing machine and a hair dryer. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher, toaster, and microwave. The sitting area was cozy, and the living room featured a comfy couch, a TV, and a fireplace. From the living room you could step outside into the greenery and sit at a table. Unfortunately, the pool wasn’t finished during our stay. The bedroom had a box‑spring bed and a wardrobe. The décor was lovingly done, and the hosts were very nice. The cleaning lady, however, should have removed all dead insects, spiders, or spider webs.
The place had very new, modern furnishings, was very clean, offered plenty of space, and was well organized—key handover, parking, and a large garden were all present. The drawback was its location in a small village where every shop was at least 5 km away, there was no internet reception in the village, the TV didn’t work, and the Wi‑Fi was unstable and weak.
“Wir kommen gerne wieder”
The apartment was great – spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and the pool was a definite plus. You can borrow canoes and even transport them to the water. The surrounding area is nicely quiet. The only drawback is that you can only reach the house by car or taxi, and the nearest shopping mall is a one‑hour walk away (two hours if you have to return).
During our stay the toilet flush in our apartment didn’t work and no handyman was sent. There was a shared spare toilet in the hallway, but that wasn’t a comfortable fix. The host didn’t offer any discount, claiming the issue was solved, but we disagreed.
