“Absolutely wonderful, a perfect paradise, and the very best hosts, kind, caring, knowledgable.”

Food, location – everything was perfect! Anyone searching for a perfect paradise need not look further; you’ll find it here! We cannot praise Norbu and Sonam enough. They are simply wonderful. The best hosts, the perfect place for peace and tranquility. We loved everything! There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this wonderful place – unless, of course, you dislike peace, serenity, awe‑inspiring natural landscapes, stunning mountain views, and beautiful gardens.

“Sponbo is beautiful and comfortable, with the kindest and most wonderful hosts imaginable.”

The hosts at the guest house were incredibly kind and welcoming, treating me like a friend; every aspect from the meals to the conversations, and the extra help with all my Leh-related needs, was the best I’ve experienced in India. Sponbo and the owners create a peaceful, safe, fun, gentle, ethical, and beautiful place that prioritizes environmental stewardship. I would gladly return without hesitation, as this oasis in Leh is both comfortable and affordable—don’t hesitate to book.

“היינו שלושה ימים והרגשנו כמו בבית. נוף מדהים, רומנטי ושקט”

Wow. A beautiful place with phenomenal service from Nurbu Al-Habibi. Waking up to an organic garden visible from the window is delightful. Nurbu was there for everything we needed: bringing water in the middle of the night, feeding us on the day we arrived with altitude sickness, helping us get the best exchange rate, and giving us a tour of the garden. The high ratings on all sites are well deserved; it’s worth every penny and more. We booked the stay again because we enjoyed it so much—an exceptional experience. It’s a bit far from the town center, but that’s part of the charm and quiet of the place. Highly recommended! A little far from the village center, but you can take an 8‑minute taxi for 300 rupees or walk half an hour.

“Best place in Leh for a quiet stay”

The property is well kept and spotless, and its distance from the main bazaar keeps it very quiet. The garden is gorgeous, full of flowers, vegetables, and fruit trees. Above all, the owner’s dedication and attentive care for guests are truly exceptional. I can’t recommend this place enough.
