I was struck by the stunning facilities, especially the hand‑crafted mosaics. I enjoyed the hosts, the animals, and the thoughtful chats with Jimmy about environmental issues. It’s a peaceful, pleasant spot to stay, and Lorena was attentive to my vegetarian diet, always offering suitable meals. My visit fell in the rainy season, and heavy downpours at times worried me because the location felt isolated, though nothing happened. I also faced a huge amount of trash on the beach; even after picking up what I could, it seemed endless, dampening my enjoyment of walking there. Some of the wooden plank paths between the facilities were worn, and the lack of lighting at night made moving around less safe. Finally, I’d have liked to use the pool, but I chose not to for personal safety reasons.
