“應該之後上台北會另外再找住宿飯店了。”

Most of the time in Taipei I stay at Ansheng Business Hotel, but it feels like things are getting worse; the only thing I liked was that it was close to the places I visited. The problem with this stay was that the entire room was filled with a strong disinfectant smell that lingered all night, preventing me from sleeping, and the air‑conditioning compressor was very loud.

“Good stay.”

I stayed for one night and it was good. Even though it’s in the city it was quite calm. The walk distance to some city attractions is acceptable.

No breakfast, but the station is very close (a short walk is still fine). The bathroom feels very clean and seems to have been renovated. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Overall, the stay scores about 80 points. The sleeping area is noticeably smaller than the bathroom. The bathroom appears organized and decorated, but it doesn’t quite separate wet from dry areas; a lack of a waterproof curtain means water sometimes splashes out when showering. The sleeping space is comfortable, yet the walls show some age marks that don’t quite match the bathroom’s overall look. I’m not sure if this is unique to my room, but it doesn’t affect the stay. The desk area is a bit limited, and the TV’s cables are a little messy. The extension cord looks old and I’m hesitant to use it for charging. The door lock still requires a key to open; I spent some time figuring out how to unlock it. I thought there might be a magnetic card. These shortcomings aren’t fatal, just small details that could be improved.

A good choice for business trips, though the older hotel might have some cleaning gaps; overall, the stay is comfortable.
