The staff were clean and friendly, but the separate toilet and bathroom were a hassle, the food was pricey, and breakfast options were limited.

The place is well‑located next to a supermarket, clean, and the breakfast is lavish, but the room lacks a toilet and shower, though that hardly mattered once I settled in.

This was my second visit, and I loved the view, the location, the historic alpine vibe, and the squeaky stairs; the breakfast and dinners were superb, and I’d definitely stay again—10/10, and the rates are reasonable for Murren.

The room offered a gorgeous mountain view and the breakfast was excellent, but the walls were thin and I could hear noise from neighboring rooms.
