“Verrassend hoe het is geregeld , maar kwam goed we stellen niet de hoogste eisen”

The hotel’s proximity to the restaurant was great, the menu was extensive and good, and we ate deliciously. The general facilities could have been better.

“Vreselijk!!”

We could only have breakfast at 10:00 am; after insisting we were finally allowed to eat at 9:30 am. At 9:50 am nobody was there. After a call from another couple, someone appeared. We tried to check in between 14:00 h and 17:00 h, but after two attempts at a closed door, there was no bell and no one answered the phone, so we stood there with our bags. Later we got in by knocking on the door when we saw someone walk in. No questions were asked, no explanation was given, and we received the key. Later it turned out another couple had been assigned the same room, but our bags were already there. The TV didn’t work, one bedside lamp was broken, and the toilet only worked half the time. We couldn’t shower because there was no hot water. Both our group and the other couple doubted whether the bedding was clean. We have stayed in many hotels in and out of the country, and never have we experienced such poor service. We want our money back immediately.

“Served us well for what we needed.”

We had a late check‑in because of circumstances, and the staff were very willing to accommodate us. They also lent us a couple of bowls so we could make instant noodles at night, which we were very grateful for. The room wasn’t as clean as I’d expect a hotel room to be; there were moldy spots in the bathroom, dusty spots in the room, and other minor issues, but we survived the night. We were woken early by loud traffic passing by, which wasn’t a problem. No hot water for a morning shower was not fun, though.

The bathroom wasn’t clean, there were floor rugs with stains, and the TV was broken.

The room was fine. The breakfast was a bit odd.
