Kamisama Homestay by Bukit Vista

“Tekrar konaklamak isteyeceğim bir yer değil”

The location was nice and the staff were friendly, but they didn’t bother with changing towels or taking out the trash. The toilet door wouldn’t lock from the inside, there was no curtain at the front door, the air‑conditioner was poorly positioned, the bed made a clattering noise when you turned and the toilet seat was broken. The shower head didn’t give fresh water, and because I didn’t trust the pool’s cleanliness I didn’t go in.

Very good location and a place that feels in the middle of nature, would recommend :)

“Ein Homestay zum Verweilen”

The huts were cozy, had plenty of space for bags, a hair dryer was available, and the kitchen could be shared. Two ladies running the guest services were exceptionally kind, and you could take lessons from Mr Wayan, the surf instructor, who was highly praised by our roommate. The pool was very clean and the location was great—we walked everywhere. The huts were a bit dark for us and one pillow was moldy, but that can happen in humid tropical Asia, so we used a different one.

“Luxurious beautiful Balinese style spacious home”

The room and bathroom are beautifully designed with plenty of space to move between seating areas, the decor is lovely and there are books to read. The room can be a little dark, but lights are available, and the pool could be cleaner.

“A real hidden gem, close to the beach but quiet, great location”

We really enjoyed our stay at Kamisama and extended for another four nights. Knowing Canggu well, we were happy to find a property with such character and charm in this spot. It’s very close to the beach but down a quiet lane, so no passing traffic or people. The garden and planting are beautiful, traditional joglo and gladaks, very authentic. The swimming pool is beautiful, everything was clean and well maintained, it’s Balinese owned which is nice, excellent value for money. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again. We’re a family of four, including teenagers, and it worked really well for us.
