“Beautiful view”

The views were beautiful, the pool was nice, and the room had a lovely terrace with a large view; but the breakfast was not very good, only served at 8 am and not refreshed, had limited choices, too many sweets, and few healthy options. The remote location on a very narrow windy road makes it impossible to go out for dinner and then drive 20 minutes back on a pitch‑dark winding road. It’s fine for one night but too much for three nights.

The location, relaxation, comfort, cleanliness, staff friendliness, infinity pool, and the organized wine tour were great, and there was a bidet; however, the wifi was weak, the food overall was poor, and the breakfast was terrible for a place like this.

The location was ideal for visiting the upper Douro valley, the pool had a magical view, and the tasting was included with the room; nothing negative.

The view of the Douro was sublime; the pool should have dark tiles to avoid spoiling the scenery, the water should be heated because as it is no one would dive, and the vineyard and cellar tour was too rushed.

The place was beautiful, the rent was good, and the receptionists and restaurant staff were very sweet; but the other staff had no personality or smiles, there was no option to buy drinks at the pool beyond a limited number of times a day, there are 11 rooms but it feels like a large hotel with no personality, and the pool opens late and is not ready.
