The spot is spot on, but the breakfast was barely any choice and mostly sweet—no healthy options at all.

“The Orange House”

The view is great, the Chaviari are nearby, restaurants are just metres away, and the train station is down the road about 1k.

The view is exceptional and the lady at reception is very kind and tries to accommodate you, but otherwise the hotel is in bad shape, the rooms are cramped, the breakfast comes on plastic plates with no quality… honestly a pity, bad value for money.

“Marvellous hotel!”

Wow. What a hotel!! Paula was very welcoming, took our cases into to reception, explained all we needed to know & showed us to the elevator. The sea view room was absolutely stunning. The balcony was just perfect - looking out on the promenade & sea, sky and sunset. The room was clean and very suitable. The sound from the sea was so relaxing. The location was a 15 min walk from the station. And the town itself was clean and presentable. We were to stay in Genoa, but we moved ourselves to Chiavari. What a great idea, that was! Local bars on the sea front were lovely. The aperitif were yummy (and free) and cocktails watching the sunset were spectacular at the end of a busy day exploring 4/5 Cinque Terre. Would definitely stay again. [we did not have breakfast at the hotel, we didn't have time]. Nothing!!! It was all great. The only thing to note in our double sea view room was the tap in the sink was wobbly. It worked, it did its job: it was just wobbly!
