“Lovely staff, very helpful. Lovely breakfast area. Would have been great except for the idiot from one bathroom!”
The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting with car hires, beach suggestions, repair shops, laundry facilities, and more. The breakfast area among the trees was lovely. One bathroom, however, had a terrible sewage smell that persisted even after we told the staff; they couldn’t eliminate it during our stay.

The apartment was spacious with fast Wi‑Fi, a kitchen, and a washing machine. The host kindly allowed us to delay our payment by one day so we could pay in cash. We were disappointed by the bathroom and kitchen cleanliness, and only one of the four beds had a mosquito net, unlike the pictures. Our group was rushed out of the property at 10:45 while we were still packing for checkout at 11.

We were two female friends staying for two nights and it was the best accommodation we’ve found in Sri Lanka. The room was super clean and comfortable, with a great mattress and pillows. There’s a terrace with a kitchen where the owner can make a fantastic breakfast. It’s very peaceful, and the owner is incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist. The location is ideal—just a 5‑minute walk to Dickwella beach, in a safe, quiet area with a more local and authentic vibe than Hiriketiya. We highly recommend it and would definitely return!
