Hotel Sanrakuso

The location was ideal, the room layout and view excellent, and the onsen was a bonus. Staff were very helpful and enthusiastic. The pillow was too firm and I needed a second one. Towels were insufficient. Breakfast and evening meals were pricey. There was no light switch in the main room and no water in the fridge.

We were in a Tatami room that was decent, but I’d pick a normal bed next time; the balcony gave an awesome view of the beach, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast offered plenty of options and was good. The location was fantastic, and there’s nothing negative to mention about our stay.

The seafront spot was unbeatable, the staff were attentive and very helpful, and the food was excellent.

“Good option in shirahama.”

The food improved on the second night, and breakfast had many choices; the room was lovely with a superb view of Shirahama beach. Checking in was a bit delayed – we had to wait in the lobby, but the small team tried to help; a quick check‑in on arrival would be a low‑cost improvement. The onsen facilities were old, so I only used them once.
