The staff were super nice and accommodating even while busy with other tasks. I wish I had more days to stay; maybe next time.

The location of this property was truly exceptional, situated right on the bank of Shag Lake with breathtaking morning views. We also appreciated its proximity to Gwinn for a quick grocery run and Marquette for city amenities or mountain hikes. The property was pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. However, we did encounter a few minor issues, such as a tricky shower and limited kitchen utensils. Despite these minor setbacks, we managed to make do and still had a great time.

The location of this property was fantastic, with a stunning lake view and a responsive manager. However, I was taken aback when I was asked to leave a pet fee on the table before checking out, despite having explicitly asked about it upfront. If there's a pet fee, I believe it should be clearly disclosed from the start, rather than springing it on guests at the last minute.

I was looking for a peaceful retreat, and this property delivered on that front, offering a remote and quiet atmosphere. The staff was friendly and unobtrusive, allowing me to have a sense of independence while still being able to get assistance if needed. We enjoyed exploring during the day and relaxing by the fire in the evenings, with the property providing plenty of brochures for things to do in the area.
