I found nothing clean, water pressure was zero, the bed was far too low, towels were hard and dirty, and the breakfast fruit was mouldy – everything was awful.

The location was splendid and a complete surprise in every way. The house was beautifully furnished to match its period, opposite the village church in a very tranquil, peaceful area. The room we stayed in was easy to access and very comfortable. Our host was friendly, generous, and charming, and Jane was very knowledgeable about the estate’s history and gave us an interesting tour. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and was exactly what we wanted. Nothing could have improved on what was such a delightful stay at Prebendal Manor.
