I really appreciated the friendliness and attention they gave me at all times; staying at UNIMOTO felt like being at home. It’s a very nice, clean place, close to the beach and the castle.

“Lovely stay in a great location with a wonderful host !”

The host was incredibly friendly, kind, and spoke amazing English, which was helpful. He did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. The location was great for exploring the Saga and Itoshima areas. The only thing I would change is removing the toilet door and using the bathroom door instead, because moving between the toilet and the sink was difficult.

“居心地いい宿”

The bath and toilet are not in the room but shared; the room itself was spacious and clean, and I could do a little cooking. It was comfortable. The host was very kind and friendly. The house has a nostalgic Showa feel, and although the interior has been renovated to be clean, the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are small steps in various shared areas, so it might be a bit difficult for older people.

Super satisfied—probably the best homestay experience I've had!!! The owner is super enthusiastic and can communicate in English, so there's no worry about language barriers. He greets you when you arrive. The room is super clean, the wooden floor is spotless, and every corner is immaculate. The room design is tasteful and stylish, and the cups and plates are beautiful. On the first floor, there's the owner’s own fishing gear brand, which supports anglers in catching big fish! There's free coffee in the morning, which is also great. After drinking, a short walk takes you to the beach near Rainbow Pine Grove, where the scenery is amazing and relaxing—an ideal experience. I’ll definitely choose this place again when I go to Tateyama!
