The place was spotlessly clean and the host was incredibly friendly. The balcony was a highlight—one spot on the main floor offered a beautiful view of the sea, while the balcony in the room gave a lovely forest view. I happened to book after seeing photos of the balcony, and it lived up to my expectations. The road is a bit tucked in, but most guests rent scooters, so that’s fine; even as a beginner driver I had no trouble.

The room was very clean, and the sunset deck offered a great view of the trees and ocean. There’s a nice small seating area next to the room or on the balcony for the upstairs room. The air‑con works well and the hot water is excellent, with a modern, clean bathroom. The host is super friendly and helpful—very upfront about prices and options for bike rental and transport, which we appreciated. The only hiccup was a minor toilet issue that was fixed quickly after we reported it. The room is a bit compact but still sufficient.

“We had a wonderful stay. Kudos to the owner”

We had a great vacation thanks to solid accommodation. We’d heard that many places in Siquijor often suffer random power outages and slow internet, which was a deal‑breaker for my girlfriend who works online. During our five‑day stay, we only had one electrical fluctuation at night due to heavy rain and strong winds, and a brief Wi‑Fi disconnection. When we let the owner know, he promptly set up a new Wi‑Fi connection. He was very welcoming and helpful, even helping us get change for our fare because the driver had no small bills. He asked the driver to look for change himself and took a photo of the license plate just in case. He also let us use their water dispenser so we didn’t have to buy bottled water often. When we mentioned we couldn’t find a vehicle to rent, he kindly suggested places to rent one. The room service was superb—our room was cleaned three times, more than you’d expect from an Airbnb. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Kudos to the owner!
