“Schönes ruhiges Hotel etwas außerhalb von Ilsenburg. Perfekt für Wanderung zum Brocken.”

Super low, directly on the Brocken. Good breakfast. Small sauna, which was nice to use after hikes. No charging station for my electric car.

The location is very nice and quiet, close to the Ilse; you can walk from the parking directly onto the riverside trail. The breakfast room is friendly and bright, and on request they made fresh scrambled eggs. The value for money is poor – what’s offered feels expensive. The room was very small, dark, and the shower cramped. Breakfast was served in three 50‑minute shifts; we’d have liked to know that earlier, and the hotel said it needed to hire extra staff for this. Wi‑Fi is weak.

“Nur zu empfehlen”

The staff were fantastic, and extending my room because of a construction site was no hassle at all. The service lady even remembered the name of the colleague on site. Absolutely top. Nothing was lacking – everything was great.

Parking is good, even for a large van. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good.
