It was cozy and perfect for stays all year round.

Some people were careless and left their dishes dirty, which wasn’t the owners’ fault.

It felt like home—safe, secure, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxed stay—yet the kitchen had individual fridges and the facilities felt more like a home than a campsite, while the showers and toilets remained clean and the owner was friendly and welcoming.

We have been going there for literally years now, we stayed there quite a lot during Covid, it’s been convenient to say the very least. Once upon a time the owner, and the dinner lady were humble, polite, friendly, over time, they changed, they use to have a smoke, as I do, I get mine through the nhs, prescribed by my actual doctor and gave prescription proof also, I was asked to move to smoke, which I did, to then be apologised too later that night, which was all perfectly fine until we left the next day, knowing we’d had it booked for in two weeks were polite, said bye and see you then, to then get a very direct ill mannered email explaining we’re banned. For a start, the worker and dinner lady smoked allday every day up until 2 months ago she said 2 days ago. as along with other weapons of choice they take. there was alcohol being drunk for breakfast most mornings prior, so in all fair ness, we were not shocked. It’s gone very downhill, all the people we recommended too and will now be letting it out there what a dive it is! Not to mention the racist comments a couple months back about the travellers next door, and about the Asian community. we were humble too, until John and co piped up. this was unfair. Good luck though. Racists
