“Sit back and relax”

I loved staying here. It’s away from the main hustle but only about 50 m from the beach and a short walk from great spots like Mama’s Place and Koh. The room was simple yet roomy, spotless, with a comfy bed and a balcony that had a hammock for unwinding. The breakfasts were amazing—fresh fruit with curd, banana pancakes, omelette, coffee and more every day! It was the perfect place to relax and regroup.

The beach proximity was unbeatable. The bed was fairly comfortable and not as worn out as some others we’d slept in on our trip. We were welcomed with a drink. However, we had a lot of tiny ants in the room, especially in the bed, which was annoying and disgusting when they crawled over us at night. The bathroom wasn’t very clean; there were huge limescale stains on the tiles, suggesting it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. We had to put a bag in front of the door to keep more ants out. The so‑called “sea view” was misleading—there was no view, just dense foliage and a construction site across the street. At least the price was reasonable and cheap, so that’s something to consider.
