Red Nose Hostel with Self-Check In

The location was very good, but the building is very old and the walls are so thin you can hear every crack, chatter, and door slam. The toilet smelled like a sewer and that odor spread into the hallways and room, and there’s no lift.

The beds were comfortable, and the toilets and showers on the upper floors were clean (the one on the 2nd floor wasn’t). A coffee machine was in the kitchen, but the common area isn’t that large. The central location in the old town is really nice. One of the male staff members was rather rude to me and seemed to treat other guests the same way, probably out of ignorance; the female staff was good. The laundromat’s dryer was broken, so I had to find another place – the nearest one is a 10‑minute walk away in the shopping centres around the railway station.

The location and the beds are comfortable, and the toilet and shower are clean. The furniture is a bit old, the walls are cracked, and the sound insulation is poor.

The hostel is very central and offers tea and coffee (though coffee ran out at one point). Some staff are horrible; the reception lady was fine, but the man was very unpleasant and seemed uninterested in making the hostel welcoming. I saw him speaking to a new guest in a very rude and angry tone, and he ignored my luggage when it seemed missing. It turned out the luggage was moved from behind the reception desk back into the room without anyone being notified, showing a complete lack of organisation.
