“Perfect.”
The place sits in a gorgeous vineyard setting, and the food and wine served outside the house were fantastic. We ended up in the best room in the building, with front and side views, which the owner kindly offered us because it was available. It was a bright, designer‑decorated room that felt both relaxing and luxurious. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh croissants, baguettes, homemade jams, and the best coffee I’ve had in the region. The owner was very friendly and took good care of us. I can’t think of anything that could have been better.

The fresh fruit yogurt, baguette butter, and homemade jams were excellent. The location is quite remote, so you’ll need a car to reach the nearby village.

Everything about the chateau surpassed our expectations. The beautifully restored building sits in a peaceful spot, and Jacquie and the team welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. Every morning we ate breakfast outdoors, looking over the vineyard. We’ll definitely come back.
