Our Labrador was welcomed warmly.

We were greeted by a very chatty host. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a nice private shower and toilet. The host and hostess cooked wonderfully for us. There were no restaurants nearby, so this was a great option. Breakfast was flavorful and well prepared. In short, a lovely stay on our way back to the Netherlands.

The peaceful surroundings were nice. However, dogs were not allowed to use the garden; we had to walk them outside right when we arrived. The owner refused to speak French or English, only German.

The family atmosphere, setting, food (dinner and breakfast), the old‑world charm with all the new equipment, and the calm made the stay very pleasant, especially since we could bring our pets and met other guests at dinner. A few basic German words help, but the lady also speaks English. There was no air conditioning, and we were in a heatwave, but the room was still very comfortable once night fell.
