Belle chambre dans un quartier calme

The host responded quickly and the parking was on the property, but the bathroom and toilet were on the opposite side of the building on a different floor, which was inconvenient. It felt more like an Airbnb room in a residents’ house, and we sensed we might disturb the occupants when using the bathroom or kitchen, so we chose to eat out instead. The hygiene was far below our expectations; we’ve always had good luck with Booking, but these two nights were unfortunately not among them.

We slept in comfy beds and the spot was cheap, just a 30‑minute U‑bahn ride to the city centre. A playground with picnic tables was right around the corner where we had breakfast, and a few blocks away you could buy baguettes. The kitchen is available but mostly used by residents, the toilet is a bit far and you have to go down a steep set of stairs.

The ladies on site were very attentive, and the beds were comfortable. The room stayed quite warm, with no fan or air conditioning.

It was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and the family was very kind in a very clean house. The location was super quiet and close to the metro. Nothing to note otherwise.

“Simple et efficace”

The location and the quietness of the neighbourhood were good. The water flow in the bathroom—both shower and tap—was extremely weak.
