The room was almost brand new, very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast, included, was Balkan‑style, plentiful but only salty. As cyclists we were offered secure bike parking. Dinner at the restaurant was good (not included). The staff were practically nonexistent, the location offered a view of customs facilities with Montenegro and a road with a near‑constant line of cars due to border traffic. In the morning there was no running water in the bathroom; after locating and informing someone from staff, the service was restored.

The location is great. There was a water problem, which led to the toilet being unclean.

“Nog niet geschikt voor verhuur”

On our bike route we found the accommodation under renovation, not ready for rent. On arrival the lobby/stairwell was dirty; the hotel could be nice but renovation isn't finished. Electrical wires not connected in the bathroom, dirty toilet and balcony, no toilet paper, etc. The staff were friendly, but everything overall seemed off. There were a few guests in the hotel and restaurant.

We had to wait for our room even though it was already 18:00, the space was tiny with only a skylight as a window, the bathroom was damp and musty, the towels were worn out, construction noise went on until midnight and started again at 7:00 am.

The hotel was very close to the border. It seemed like we were the only guests in the building; no front‑desk staff were present, no one greeted us, and we had to search the entire hotel to find someone who could check us in and show us our reserved room. The room was still uncleaned when we arrived, so we waited outside on the street while everything was being prepared. Breakfast portions were tiny and there was no way to choose what we wanted because a boy arrived. Some dirty cups were left on the coffee machine along with mugs. There was no response from the staff, and it felt like we were there just to wait for them to leave.
